Product Care Guides
Natural Soap Care Guide:
Keep soap dry when not in use.
Soap will disintegrate if left sitting in water.
Store soap in a well-draining dish.
This will help soap dry out in between uses and avoid it getting soggy.
Store unused soap in a cool, and dry place away from direct sunlight and water.
Excessive heat, light, and moisture are natural soap's worst enemies.
Avoid extremely hot water
Hot water makes bar soap dissolve quicker and requires a bit more effort to create a good lather.
Soap Bag Use Instructions:
Cut soap into smaller pieces or wait for it to break down and slip small piece(s) into soap bag. Rub soap bag under water to generate a rich later.
a smaller surface area of soap means less soap hits the water and helps the soap to last longer.
Make sure to rinse with clean water, ring out excess water, then hang them up to dry in between uses.
Wooden Wick Candle Guide:
Always trim your wick before each use to ensure the wick stays lit. Remove all charred wood from previous burns. To trim the wick you can use a wick trimmer, scissors, or simply take your finger, and gently break off the charcoal.
Make your first burn count! Allow the wax to completely melt across the diameter creating a melted wax pool to prevent tunneling.
When lighting a wooden wick candle, the best technique is to tilt it on an angle and let the flame draw across the length of the wick (kind of like how you tilt a match after lighting).
Be patient with lighting. Sometimes wooden wicks take longer to light. Think of it like a campfire. You may need to hold the lighter 15- 20 seconds to make sure you're getting the wick catch properly.
